ACCESSIBILITY
NEXYXEN Accessibility
NEXYXEN builds this website to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at large text sizes and on small screens.

The short version
Designed for keyboard use
Menus, forms and controls are built for keyboard use with a visible focus outline.
Motion you can switch off
Set reduce motion on your device and ambient animation stops, with sections shown in their finished state.
No conformance claimed
The target used in development is WCAG 2.1 AA. No independent audit has been carried out yet.
This statement describes what is actually implemented. It does not claim a formal conformance level, because no independent audit has been carried out.
What is implemented
- Semantic HTML: real headings in order, lists, buttons for actions and links for navigation
- Keyboard support for the header menus, mobile navigation and enquiry form
- A visible focus outline on every interactive element, using a dedicated focus colour rather than the browser default alone
- Escape closes the header menus and the mobile navigation, and focus returns to the control that opened them
- Form fields with real labels, error messages tied to their field, and errors announced rather than shown only in colour
- Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative visuals hidden from assistive technology
- Layouts designed to reflow from 320px upwards, with functionality that does not depend on hover alone
- Colour combinations selected with WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios as the development target
Motion
Animation on this site is used to explain a workflow or to give feedback, never as decoration that runs on its own indefinitely in the reader's way.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the site honours that: transitions are reduced to near zero, ambient animation stops, and animated sections render in their final state. The setting lives under Accessibility in your operating system's settings, named Reduce motion on iOS and macOS and Show animations in Windows.
What has not been verified
No independent accessibility audit has been carried out on this website, so NEXYXEN does not claim WCAG 2.1 AA or AAA conformance. The target used during development is WCAG 2.1 AA.
Testing so far has been carried out by the team during development with keyboard navigation, browser zoom and reduced-motion settings. It has not covered every screen reader and browser combination, and parts of the site that use detailed workflow diagrams may read less clearly with some assistive technology than the text around them.
Reporting a problem
If something on this site is hard to use or impossible to reach, please say so. A short description of the page, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you were using is enough to act on.
Accessibility problems reported here are treated as defects and fixed in the ordinary course of work, not deferred to a review cycle.
Accessibility in project work
The same standards apply to what NEXYXEN builds for clients: keyboard operation, semantic structure, contrast, focus states and reduced-motion support are part of the build rather than an addition afterwards. Where a client needs a formally audited conformance level, that audit is scoped as part of the project.
